The Lancet One Health Commission report1 offers valuable insights into operationalising and institutionalising the One Health approach, highlighting the importance of collaboration across sectors and disciplines to address the interconnected health of people, animals, and ecosystems. Gender equity and women's roles are referenced and included under the broader equity narrative. As members of the Women for One Health (WfOH) Network, we aim to draw attention to gaps in gender-responsive One Health implementation and offer constructive suggestions to enhance gender inclusivity in One Health programmes.
