<p><em><strong>Objective: </strong></em>To determine the diagnostic accuracy of slit skin smears in clinically suspected patients of leprosy using histopathology as gold standard.</p>

<p><em><strong>Conclusion: </strong></em>Study suggested that although slit skin smears are rapid and inexpensive method of diagnosis but their diagnostic accuracy is low.</p>
