AB - <p>The Chembio DPP (Dual Path Platform) Syphilis Screen &amp; Confirm kit&nbsp;is a rapid serologic test that can be used to diagnose yaws. We evaluated its capacity to detect patients with ulcers that tested PCR positive for&nbsp;<em>Treponema pallidum</em>&nbsp;subsp.&nbsp;<em>pertenue</em>. DPP detected 84% of ulcers that were positive by PCR.</p>
