Plants or plantderived mixtures are required to explore, identify, and formulate for wound healing treatment and management. Because of the fewer side effects and management of wounds, there has been an increase in interest in using medicinal herbs in wound healing throughout the years. In research, medicinal herbs were found to help diabetic, infected, and open wounds heal faster. Medicinal plants have been shown to aid in wound healing through a variety of processes.
