About the event
The Ninth Global Symposium on Health Systems Research will take place on 9–11 November 2026 in Dubai, Eastern Mediterranean Region. The theme of HSR2026 is Future-Focused Health Systems in a Changing World. The event brings together its members with the full range of players involved in health systems, policy and research. There is no other international gathering that serves the needs of this community.
Abstract submissions are now open!
Across all four sub-themes, there are three session types in which you can submit an abstract:
- Individual sessions
- Organized sessions
- Capacity strengthening sessions.
The Symposium also seeks to build the field of health systems research, in addition to addressing important thematic areas. Sessions that allow for an examination of a common set of problems, develop or advance a body of theory and knowledge, and/or consider common practices, are therefore welcome.
