Gendered experiences: marriage and the stigma of leprosy.

Abstract

Stigma is rife in health and health care and it has implicit impacts which are often overlooked. Due to the continued social construction of the stigma of leprosy, it is clear that a greater understanding is needed of how stigma is experienced.
